Holiday Choice
So I thought of Christmas in July
One of our family’s favorite thing is cut our own Christmas trees. Then most of the time we take a picture to show off like hunters.
I did not take this picture but it was with my camera
I scanned this old photo of winter 1932 for my Grandmother she had 6 children at the time they decided to do a Christmas display and inter it into the contest in Toole . Keeping six young children off the front yard so it would look nice was a challenge. Grandma & Grandpa Merrill won the contest that year but never got a photo on the seen so I recreated it as grandma could remember it. I used many masks and the wise men’s shadows were the wise men stretched then blurred and the layer was set to multiply.

Portraits are not my favorite thing. I have a hard time saying smile or telling a joke, so I just keep trying to catch a different expression. But if I have to print something big I guess that pictures of my family would be a good choice
“Kevin, Hallie & Hilary” and “Lydia, Addison & Tyler” were both taken on June 2, 2009, around 7pm at f2.7 no flash and lots of photos in our back yard both use at least 3 different photos to create the one
